GENERAL INTRODUCTION OF SIKKIM
Sikkim is situated in India\’s northeastern region. It is one of the twenty-eight states of India. It is the second smallest Indian state by land and the least populous state in India. It shares borders with West Bengal to the south. It also shares international borders with Nepal to the west, Bhutan to the east, and Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north.
Kangchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain, is situated in Sikkιm. Kangchenjunga\’s highest peak is situated on the border between Sikkιm and Nepal.
Gangtok is the capital of the state. Sikkim produces more cardamom than any other Indian state.
Khangchendzonga National Park covers almost 35% of the area of the state. The Khangchendzonga National Park is a list of UNESCO world Heritage Sites.
Prem Singh Tamang is the Chief Minister of the state.
