GENERAL INTRODUCTION OF DELHI
Delhi is situated in India\’s northern region. It is one of the eight union territories of India. It is the fourth largest union territory of India by land and the most populous union territory of India by population. It shares borders with Uttar Pradesh to the east and Haryana to the west, north, and south. The National Capital Territory (NCT) is a part of the Union territory of Delhι. It contains New Delhi, the capital of India. After Mumbai, Delhι is the second wealthiest city in India. Delhι is the centre of the National Capital Region (NCR), which is a unique \’Interstate regional planning\’ area created by the National Capital Region Planning Board.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament Building, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Purana Kila, India Gate, Lotus Temple, Akshardham temple are the main tourist places in Delhι.
